Newsham Scream Park

Returning for its fourth year, Newsham Scream Park wanted to make its latest season bigger, better, and more impactful than ever before, turning to Propel PR to help build excitement, drive awareness and deliver its strongest launch yet.

Propel PR supported the launch with an exclusive opening event, welcoming more than 300 guests from across the scare community, food and lifestyle creators, influencers, local businesses and media, spread across three time slots throughout the evening.

Those brave enough to enter were invited to experience four terrifying scare mazes and immersive attractions: Waxworks, SpecimenZ, Cut Throat Lane and Hellfire, the park’s intense over 18s experience.

From start to finish, guests were immersed in the world of Newsham Scream Park, generating plenty of scares, reactions and highly shareable moments along the way. The response spoke for itself, with guest feedback hailing it as the best year yet.

Across the launch, more than 90 pieces of social media content were generated, alongside 150+ Instagram Stories, creating a wave of organic exposure. The momentum also helped Newsham Scream Park reach its highest Instagram following to date at 16,000, while content generated more than 500,000 views.

Adding another local favourite to the experience, The Bus Yard provided the food and drink offering for the launch giving guests the chance to refuel between scares.

Beyond the event and influencer activity, Propel PR amplified the campaign through targeted media outreach, securing local and regional coverage across Liverpool Echo, The Guide Liverpool, Confidentials, Explore Liverpool, Visit Liverpool and YM Liverpool.

The combination of a packed launch night, extensive organic content, record social growth and media coverage helped make Newsham Scream Park’s fourth year its biggest yet, setting a new benchmark for the attraction as it continues to establish itself as one of the region’s must visit Halloween experiences.
