Behind Closed Doors, the mysterious speakeasy style bar, has officially opened its doors in Liverpool with a brand new location on Colquitt Street in the heart of the city.
The owners behind the venue partnered with Propel PR to deliver a full scale launch strategy, from the initial press announcement through to an opening party and targeted influencer engagement.
As a bold and risqué new concept for Liverpool, it was essential to create a sense of intrigue, excitement, and exclusivity around the venue, while staying true to the personality of Behind Closed Doors’ existing locations. Propel PR designed a campaign to build anticipation and position the bar as a must visit destination for a night out in Liverpool.
The launch showcased the venue’s signature cocktails, racy interiors, and playful details, including the unique phone system allowing guests to call other tables, bringing the brand’s concept to life and capturing the attention of its target audience.
Propel PR then capitalised on the generated hype with an exciting launch party that fully embodied the spirit of BCD. Guests were treated to tongue-in-cheek cocktails complete with a DJ booth constructed from shopping trolleys playing live vinyl.
