Propel PR is spearheaded by director Georgia Morgan, who originally started her career in journalism, reporting for both the Liverpool Echo as Social Media Reporter where social media and working on the site’s SEO was also a big part of her role, before working across Trinity Mirror’s regional titles as Advanced Content Writer.

During her time as a journalist, Georgia focussed largely on What’s On and Celebrity content, featuring Liverpool and the North West’s food and drink, beauty and fashion, film and TV, events and culture news. This only grew once she wrote for the media titles across the UK, broadening her speciality to national news.

Following her time in the newsroom, Georgia moved into PR, taking her contacts with her and building on them from there. Her first role in PR saw her working in house at Signature Living where she specialised in raising awareness of the group’s restaurants and bars, spa and celebrity and influencer engagement. Here she secured some of TVs biggest stars, accommodating them to stay, film and shoot in the hotels, with a highlight being securing The Only Way Is Essex’s Christmas Special across Signature Living’s venues in 2016. At the time TOWIE had 1.25 million viewers.

Since then, Georgia has worked for PR agencies in Liverpool where she led or was directly involved in PR strategies for brands within the hospitality, food and beverage, fashion, beauty and corporate industries.

Some of the brands she has worked with include Titanic Hotel Liverpool, Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa, Liverpool Christmas Ice Festival, The Venue at Royal Liver Building, Legacie Developments, The Merchant, Alma De Cuba, Vincent Cafe and Cocktail Bar, Float Planet, Union 22, Scarlet Belle, Dolly Daydreams and The Gay Times Honours.

Georgia was recently named in the Liverpool Echo’s 30 Under 30: The young people changing the face of Liverpool.

When it comes to events, Propel PR director Jade Morgan, whose background is working with fashion brands, takes control. From Matalan to Boohoo, Jade has worked on various projects ensuring every detail is perfect from beginning until execution. She works with clients on their event expectations and turns their ideas into reality.
